Employee recognition, milestone by milestone

The Asana Values Award: a company character finished in polished silver
A values award for Asana, in silver.

Coca-Cola, M&M’S and Tequila Patrón have ordered their employees’ awards from D’Argenta. The companies that do recognition well treat it as a programme, not a purchase. Here is how to build one.

Why a programme beats one-off awards

When every award belongs to one design family, each new piece adds to a collection people can see growing — on their own desk and across the office. It also makes ordering simple: the design is approved once and made again whenever someone reaches the next step.

Which award for which milestone

  1. 01

    First year to five years

A smaller piece in copper or silver, often the company’s logo or mascot. It marks belonging more than achievement.

  2. 02

    Ten years

The same design, larger or in silver with a detail in gold — the first time the programme visibly steps up.

  3. 03

    Twenty to twenty-five years

A substantial piece in silver and 24-karat gold, engraved with the person’s name and years.

  4. 04

    Retirement

A one-off piece that tells the story of a career: a symbol of the work, the city or the person’s passion.

  5. 05

    Values awards

For people who live the company’s values. A character or symbol of the culture works best — Asana’s values award is one.

  6. 06

    Sales clubs and top performers

An annual award for the year’s best, in gold for first place. McDonald’s golden arches have served as a sales award.

Practical details

There is no minimum order, so a programme can start with the people reaching a milestone this quarter and grow from there. A very simple piece takes about a week and a complex one about a month; we keep your approved design on file so repeat orders are quick.
