Spotify launched its first awards show with a D’Argenta trophy. Mexico’s film journalists have presented the Diosa de Plata since 1963, and D’Argenta makes it. Whether your award is new or decades old, the object is what people remember.
Launching a new award
A new award needs an identity on day one, and the statuette carries most of it. We design from your brand outward: what must read from the back of a hall, what must look right in a winner’s hand on camera, and what must still look right on a shelf in ten years.
You approve drawings, then a prototype you can hold, before the run is made. One piece per category, plus spares.
Keeping an established award the same
An award with history has the opposite problem: it must not change. We reproduce existing statuettes faithfully from the original piece and keep every year’s run consistent, so each new winner receives exactly what the first one did.
How a statuette is made with you

Brief
The award’s name, categories, number of winners, ceremony date and how the piece will be photographed.

Design
Drawings or a 3D render built on your identity, revised with you until it is right.

Prototype
A first piece you can hold and judge, because a finish is easy to judge in the hand and hard to agree in words.

Production and engraving
The full run, finished by hand in silver, 24-karat gold or copper, engraved per winner and category.
